This client had been drinking at a gentleman’s club before continuing on to his office, where he continued to drink as he worked. On his drive home, he hit an exit sign and two light poles while trying to exit I-75. A witness approached my client’s passenger side window to see if he was OK, and my client started driving again. He made it one block before driving over a curb and into a cement post. The witness testified that my client looked drunk while the police were speaking with him. The police officer testified that my client had to use his truck for balance, and had bloodshot eyes and alcohol on his breath. He reported that my client seemed intoxicated. My client refused all field sobriety tests.
